What are dermal fillers?

They are hyaluronic acid injectables that help restore volume and soften the appearance of folds and creases, with a finish that respects your features. They do not relax the muscle the way botulinum toxin does: they work on volume and contour. The result is temporary and is maintained with periodic applications.

At MOSS they are priced by the syringe, half or full. A half syringe is meant for targeted corrections or a subtle change. We also work with Restylane®, a line of hyaluronic acid fillers; which product and how much suits your case is decided by the practitioner at your evaluation.

Two areas have their own option on the menu. Under-eye: filler in the tear trough, the hollow beneath the eye, to soften the appearance of sunken under-eyes and shadows; it is a delicate area and suitability is assessed with particular care. And non-surgical nose reshaping: hyaluronic acid used to reshape the nose without surgery, focused on softening irregularities in the profile.

Who is it for?

For adults who notice lost volume or deeper folds and want a subtle, balanced change, not a different face. Also for anyone who wants to soften the appearance of sunken under-eyes, or balance the profile of the nose without surgery.

It always starts with an evaluation, free and about 15 minutes long, which can be in person or virtual. That is where it is decided whether filler is the right option, in which area and how much; sometimes the answer is a different treatment, or none. If you have a health condition, take any medication, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, mention it: the practitioner assesses every case.

What is the appointment like, step by step?

The visit starts by reviewing the areas and the result you're after with you. If the treatment is right for you and there is space in the calendar, it can be applied the same day as the evaluation.

Fillers involve numbing: the procedure starts about 30 minutes after your appointment time, which is how long it takes to work. The application itself runs from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much product is placed, so it is best not to book anything right after.

At the end you get your aftercare instructions. If the way the product has settled needs a check, a follow-up appointment is booked.

A $50 deposit is required to hold appointments over $100, and it goes toward your service. You can move or cancel with at least 48 hours' notice; inside that window the deposit is non-refundable.

Maryge Olaves, APRN and master injector at MOSS Medical Spa

Who applies the dermal fillers?

All fillers are applied by Maryge Olaves, an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner), board certified in aesthetics by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine and a master injector, with 8 years devoted to aesthetics. Her standard is the house standard: amounts chosen so that people notice the change, not the procedure. It is also why pricing is always given as a starting point: the final amount depends on how much product your evaluation calls for, not on a fixed package.

Meet Maryge

Medical supervision and safety

Who evaluates your case, and how is your safety looked after?

Your case is evaluated by Maryge Olaves, APRN (Nurse Practitioner), before anything is applied, and she is the one who performs the treatment.

Every injectable starts with an evaluation

Botulinum toxin and fillers require an evaluation before application, which can take place at the same appointment. For collagen biostimulators, PRP and lipolytic enzymes the evaluation consultation is required and comes before the procedure is booked.

A Nurse Practitioner evaluates you

The evaluation for injectables is done by Maryge Olaves, APRN. She defines the area, the product and the amount. Nobody recommends them to you over chat or from a photo. For botulinum toxin and fillers there is also a virtual evaluation with her.

Health, medication, pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take any medication or have a health condition, the professional reviews that individually at your evaluation. We do not give a yes or a no by message, and this page does not replace that consultation either.

If it is not right for you, we tell you

Maryge speaks plainly: if a treatment is not right for you, she tells you and explains why. And if what you are looking for falls outside her scope of practice, she refers you to a surgeon.

Frequently asked questions

Where in Doral can I get dermal fillers?

At MOSS Medical Spa by Maryge Olaves, 8180 NW 36th St, Suite 215, Doral, FL 33166 (second floor, with an elevator and free parking in the building). They are applied by Maryge Olaves, APRN, and the menu includes dedicated options for under-eye and non-surgical nose reshaping. We are open Monday to Friday 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 4 PM, by appointment via WhatsApp at (786) 608-3111.

Fillers or botulinum toxin?

They work differently. Botulinum toxin helps soften expression lines by temporarily relaxing the muscle; filler adds volume and contour with hyaluronic acid. Which one fits what you're looking for, or whether neither does, is decided at your evaluation.

Half syringe or full syringe?

It depends on the area and how much change you're after. A half syringe, from $400, is meant for targeted corrections or a subtle change; a full syringe starts at $750. The amount is decided by the practitioner at your evaluation.

Do you offer under-eye filler?

Yes. It has its own option on the menu: hyaluronic acid filler in the tear trough, from $400 for a half syringe. It is a delicate area, so suitability, product and amount are decided at your evaluation.

Is non-surgical nose reshaping a surgery?

No. It reshapes the nose with hyaluronic acid, without surgery, focused on softening irregularities in the profile. At MOSS it starts at $750 and, like every filler, it begins with an evaluation that decides whether it is right for you.
