What are lip fillers?
They are a hyaluronic acid gel applied to the lip to help define the border, add volume or hydrate, depending on the goal. The result is temporary and is maintained with periodic applications.
At MOSS they are priced by the syringe, half or full. A half syringe is an option for anyone looking for hydration and subtle definition, or a small adjustment to the lip line. How much product makes sense, and which product brand is used, is decided by the practitioner at your evaluation, not from a catalog. The house standard is that people notice the change, not the procedure.
Who is it for?
For anyone looking for a more defined lip line or a little more volume, with a subtle change and without an overdone look. That is, in fact, the worry we hear most before people book: ending up with a result that doesn't look natural. That is why the plan starts from your features, not from a standard measure.
It requires an evaluation. That consultation is free, takes about 15 minutes and can be in person or virtual: Maryge reviews whether the treatment is right for you and how much product makes sense. If you have a health condition, take any medication, have a history of cold sores, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, mention it at the evaluation: the practitioner assesses each case individually.
What is the appointment like, step by step?
The visit takes about 1 hour, counting around 30 minutes of numbing. It starts by reviewing the result you're after and the plan with you: amount and product. If the treatment is right for you and there is availability, it can be applied the same day as the evaluation.
Lip fillers involve numbing, and it needs time to take effect: that is why the procedure starts about 30 minutes after your appointment time, so plan your arrival with that in mind.
At the end you get your aftercare instructions. If the way the product has settled needs a check, a follow-up appointment is booked with the practitioner.
A $50 deposit is required to hold appointments over $100, and it goes toward your service. You can move or cancel with at least 48 hours' notice; inside that window the deposit is non-refundable.

Half syringe or full syringe: how much is each?
A half syringe of lip filler starts at $400 and a full syringe at $750.
| Amount | From | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Half syringe | $400 | 30 min+ 30 min of preparation |
| Full syringe | $750 | 30 min+ 30 min of preparation |
The preparation minutes are the wait for the numbing. How much product you need, and therefore which option applies, is decided at your evaluation.
Prices are shown as a starting point: the exact amount depends on your evaluation and on the specialist performing the treatment.

Who applies the lip fillers?
They are applied by Maryge Olaves, an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner), board certified in aesthetics by the American Academy of Procedural Medicine and a master injector, with 8 years devoted to aesthetics. With injectables we do not delegate: she evaluates and she applies. Maryge is also a Master in Micropigmentation, and MOSS offers both lip treatments: filler, which works on volume and shape, and lip micropigmentation, which works on color. At your evaluation she explains how they differ for your case.
Meet MarygeMedical supervision and safety
Who evaluates your case, and how is your safety looked after?
Your case is evaluated by Maryge Olaves, APRN (Nurse Practitioner), before anything is applied, and she is the one who performs the treatment.
Every injectable starts with an evaluation
Botulinum toxin and fillers require an evaluation before application, which can take place at the same appointment. For collagen biostimulators, PRP and lipolytic enzymes the evaluation consultation is required and comes before the procedure is booked.
A Nurse Practitioner evaluates you
The evaluation for injectables is done by Maryge Olaves, APRN. She defines the area, the product and the amount. Nobody recommends them to you over chat or from a photo. For botulinum toxin and fillers there is also a virtual evaluation with her.
Health, medication, pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take any medication or have a health condition, the professional reviews that individually at your evaluation. We do not give a yes or a no by message, and this page does not replace that consultation either.
If it is not right for you, we tell you
Maryge speaks plainly: if a treatment is not right for you, she tells you and explains why. And if what you are looking for falls outside her scope of practice, she refers you to a surgeon.

About 1 hour. Lip fillers involve numbing, so the procedure starts about 30 minutes after your appointment time; plan your arrival with that in mind.
Lip filler or lip micropigmentation?
They are different treatments. Filler uses hyaluronic acid to work on volume and shape; micropigmentation deposits pigment in the surface of the lip to work on color. MOSS offers both, and which one fits what you're looking for is decided at your evaluation.
Can a lip filler be dissolved?
Yes, with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that helps dissolve previously placed hyaluronic acid when a result needs correcting. At MOSS it starts at $150 and requires a prior evaluation: the practitioner decides whether it is right in your case.
Do lip fillers hurt?
They involve numbing, which is why the procedure starts about 30 minutes after your appointment time. Sensitivity varies from person to person; if it worries you, mention it at your evaluation.
