The difference is in how the brow ends up drawn. Microblading traces fine, hair-like strokes that mimic natural hair. Shading leaves a soft powder effect. The combo brings both techniques, strokes and shading, together in the same brow.
All three are semi-permanent makeup: the pigment fades gradually and is refreshed with touch-ups. And all three start the same way, with the brow design drawn with you before anything is applied.

What is Envy Brows?
Envy Brows is the microblading technique created by Maryge Olaves, APRN and Master in Micropigmentation, at MOSS Medical Spa (Doral, FL): semi-permanent makeup that draws fine, hair-like strokes to give the brow shape and density with a natural finish. Its full name is 3D Microblading, Extreme Natural Look.
In the comparison, Envy Brows is the first row of the table: the house hair-stroke technique. It is not a fourth option or a service separate from microblading; it is how microblading is done at MOSS.
It is performed by the MOSS team of PMU artists, whom Maryge personally trains in the technique. The design is made for your face, not from a stencil.
How much does each brow technique cost in Doral?
At MOSS Medical Spa shading starts at $290, the combo at $300 and hair-stroke microblading at $380. These are starting prices: the exact amount depends on the evaluation and on the specialist performing the work.
The 45-day touch-up, which reviews how the area healed and adjusts color and shape, starts at $120.
A $50 deposit is required to hold appointments over $100, and it goes toward your service. You can move or cancel with at least 48 hours' notice; inside that window the deposit is non-refundable.
How long is the appointment?
All three techniques take between 30 and 60 minutes on the calendar, plus about 30 minutes of preparation with topical numbing. That is why the visit runs longer than the booking shows.
The session starts with the design: the shape of your face is studied and the brow is drawn with you. Work continues only once you're happy with the shape. At the end you get the aftercare instructions.
Which of the three techniques is right for me?
That is decided at the evaluation, not by a chart. The evaluation is free, takes about 15 minutes and determines whether the treatment is right for you, which technique fits and what the design would look like.
None of the three is right for every case or every skin type. If you have a health condition, or you are pregnant or breastfeeding, mention it at the evaluation: the practitioner assesses each case individually.
